Technical Plastering Training

Course Details:

Our unique Plastering course will not only kick start your own Plastering Business but we will provide you with quality tuition and ideas of how to get your plastering business up and running.

The Midlands Construction College plastering course has been designed to give you a good understanding in basic plastering techniques. As the course progresses we increase the content so you continually build on and develop the skills you have already learnt.

The main objective of the course is that each student can learn at their own pace, so we allow quality time, for quality tuition. Each student will be allocated their own unique area.

Gain a theoretical overview and practical experience within the following areas:

Health & Safety

Tooling

Clean working practices

Fixing angle beading around external corners

Applying Plasterboard to ceilings and walls

Applying skimming coats to walls

Patch and repair work to solid walls

Feathering and blending in

Doorways and window frames

Dealing with customers, pricing, estimates and invoicing techniques

Course duration:

2 weeks

NOCN (unit certificate)

Anyone interested in gaining a complete intensive program in to plastering.

On successful completion delegates have the skills and competency to undertake plastering tasks and repairs.

What do I need to bring?

Tools and overalls are provided for use within the training centre only. You may wish to purchase one of our tool kits and start to become accustom with the tools within the kit whilst on your plastering training course. A mobile canteen sells a selection of hot and cold food at lunch time.
